Painted in 1741 by Nicolás Enríque (1704-1790) The Adoration of the Kings with Viceroy Pedro de Castro y Figueroa, Duke of La Conquista is an oil on copper in the collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. It was purchased by LACMA in 2012 with funds provided by Kelvin Davis, Lynda and Stewart Resnick, Kathy and Frank Baxter, Beth and Josh Friedman, and Jane and Terry Senel. The work was included in the exhibition Painted in Mexico, 1700–1790: Pinxit Mexici with the following venues: Mexico City, Palacio de Cultura Citibanamex (Palacio de Iturbide), June - Oct., 2017. The exhibition traveled to Los Angeles, County Museum, Nov., 2017 – March, 2018 and New York, Metropolitan Museum of Art, April - July, 2018.
